Golf Cart Registration

Are you ready to RIDE?!?!  Join us this year for the 6th Annual Witches Ride of Ocean Springs in downtown Ocean Springs, October 28th at 5:30PM! This FUNdraiser helps to raise money for local animal welfare organizations all while having a Witchin' good time! Due to safety limitations, there are a limited number of registrations available, and in 2022, the event sold out in 2 weeks! Once tickets are gone, they won’t be back until the next year’s event!

Dress in your witchiest attire, decorate your broom, and get ready for a ride! All participants are encouraged to load their brooms with plenty of treats to toss (NO hard candy allowed per City of Ocean Springs) to all the good boys and girls lining the downtown streets of Ocean Springs! Witches will meet at 503 Dewey Ave then will fly to the route's end less than 1 mile away, near the Mary C. O'Keefe Cultural Center. All registrants receive their choice of an official Witches Ride of Ocean Springs T-shirt or tank.

This year we will include walkers, cyclists, and a VERY limited number of golf carts! **Please note, children are not allowed to join or participate in the official ride even if they are in strollers, wagons, or walking. The ride is only for registered adults aged 18+.  Due to safety limitations, scooters, one-wheels, motorized scooters and skateboards are not allowed. ECV Scooters and wheelchairs are welcome.

IMPORTANT: The Witches Ride of Ocean Springs is a RAIN OR SHINE event! The only way the event will not be held is if local officials prevent it from happening due to occurrences such as lightning, natural disasters, pandemics, or catastrophe. In case of cancellation due to weather, there is a rain make-up date for October 29th at 5:30PM.

Lastly, this event is a fundraiser for local animal welfare agencies and there is NOT an option for refunds. Monies collected will go to local animal welfare groups regardless.

GOLF CART POLICIES

PLEASE NOTE: This registration only covers the golf cart, and does not include the registrations the riders in the golf cart.

All drivers/participants/riders must be registered to participate in the Witches Ride with a wristband, (and be 18+).

-Golf carts must have current and up to date liability insurance, and provide a copy to the Witches Ride by October 20th or they will not be allowed to participate.

-Golf carts must be legally registered/permitted with the city of Ocean Springs.

-Drivers must have a valid license to operate motorized vehicles (golf carts).

-Drivers are prohibited from consuming alcoholic beverages while participating in the Witches Ride of Ocean Springs.

-The number of riders must not exceed the number of safety belts on the golf cart.

-Rules of the road must be observed while on parade route such as seat belts, proper following distance, speed, etc.
