Are you ready to RIDE?!?! Join us this year for the 7th Annual Witches Ride of Ocean Springs in downtown Ocean Springs, October 26th at 5:30PM! This FUNdraiser helps to raise money for local animal welfare organizations all while having a Witchin' good time! Due to safety limitations, there are a limited number of registrations available, and in 2023, the event sold out in 3 weeks! Once tickets are gone, they won’t be back until the next year’s event!
Dress in your witchiest attire, decorate your broom, and get ready for a ride! All participants are encouraged to load their brooms with plenty of treats to toss (NO hard candy allowed per City of Ocean Springs) to all the good boys and girls lining the downtown streets of Ocean Springs! Witches will meet at Freedom Field then will fly to the route's start at General Pershing and Government St, they'll fly West toward Washington Ave, then they'll head South and end at Washington Ave and Joseph St. All registrants receive a wristband, their choice of an official Witches Ride of Ocean Springs T-shirt or tank, as well as one complimentary Pub Crawl Ticket.
This year we will include walkers, cyclists and a limited number of golf carts (a separate golf cart registration is required)! **Please note, children are not allowed to join or participate in the official ride even if they are in strollers, wagons, or walking. The ride is only for registered adults aged 18+. Due to safety limitations, scooters, one-wheels, motorized scooters and skateboards are not allowed. ECV Scooters and wheelchairs are welcome.
Packet Pickup dates will be announced mid-Sept and emailed to all registrants.
IMPORTANT: The Witches Ride of Ocean Springs is a RAIN OR SHINE event! The only way the event will not be held is if local officials prevent it from happening due to occurrences such as lightning, natural disasters, pandemics, or catastrophe. In case of cancellation due to weather, there is a rain make-up date for October 27th at 5:30PM.
Lastly, this event is a fundraiser for local animal welfare agencies and there is NOT an option for refunds. Monies collected will go to local animal welfare groups regardless of the event's completion.
